Cindy graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Computational Media, specializing in user experience design and development. She has worked at Macy's Corporate, IBM, Georgia Tech, and is now currently at Capital One. She is a hackathon addict, mentoring and coaching 3-5 hackathons per season in ux design and web development. Cindy recruits at Georgia Tech often, going back to Atlanta to work at the College of Computing’s all-day Resume Reboot and Computational Media’s Portfolio review for the past two years. Cindy spoke at the Southeast Women in Computing Conference in 2015 on An Introduction to User Experience, as well as the Southeast Regional Conference for Asian American Leaders 2016 on Empathic Design in a Cultural Narrative. Giving back to the design community is important to Cindy; she has worked with the founders of Ladies that UX to charter the Richmond chapter and is actively involved in design thinking coaching at Capital One.
