Program Details

Cancer treatments meant to destroy a person’s cancer may also have side effects. Some of these effects may be temporary, and will go away when a patient’s body adjusts to therapy or once treatment ends, but some may be long-lasting.  Reactions to cancer treatment vary from patient to patient, and treating these side effects is an important part of cancer care and in improving quality of life.

During this program, expert speakers from the Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute will share information on managing the medical and psychological side effects of blood cancer treatment. Guests will also learn about The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s resources and support available throughout the cancer journey.
