Greer Allen Fundraising Manager Environmental Justice Australia Greer started working as a fundraiser because she wanted social and environmental movements to be well resourced and effective. She is a recent addition to the team at Environmental Justice Australia, joining them one month before Victoria’s work-from-home orders were introduced, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Previously, Greer was the Key Relationships Manager at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, developing a multimillion dollar major gift program for the rapidly growing organisation. She has also managed government funded carbon reduction projects in local government, run fundraising events for Indigenous communities, and worked with private philanthropy to seed Australia’s first bicycle-powered, Cycle-in-Cinema. She holds a Bachelor of Development Studies and Arts (Economics) from the University of Newcastle and is an alumni of the Veritus Major Gift Academy. | |
Natalie Barnett MFIA CFRE Head of Fundraising Campaigns Arts Centre Melbourne Natalie Barnett is a skilled and experienced fundraising professional with an exceptional record in strategic planning; she has managed and implemented best practice fundraising programs that have driven growth across a wide range of charitable sectors in the UK and Australia. She is currently working at Arts Centre Melbourne as Head of Fundraising campaigns, where she has set up a new fundraising campaigns program, and its necessary support structures to deliver growth. Natalie is also part of an Emerging Leadership Cohort focused on delivering change and innovation for the Arts Industry in a post COVID-19 world. Prior to this, she worked at Plan International as Fundraising Campaigns Manager, and for five years at Pareto Fundraising, where she worked with a wide variety of charitable organisations on their fundraising programs. | |
Trudy Fick Cash Giving Manager Plan International For the past nine years, Trudy has worked in individual giving across environment, health and now international development, with a focus on elevating the traditional channel of direct mail marketing and its associated practices in a holistic way. Using the analogy of a ‘leaky bucket’, Trudy works strategically to plug any holes that may exist in cash giving programs, enabling them to sustain their successes and elevate their potential through careful and considered improvements. With a strong focus on data segmentation to create meaningful outputs for donors, and a collaborative approach to foster multi-channel campaigns, Trudy has successfully managed the cash giving program at Plan International to deliver a positive cash outcome for FY20. This has included both an Emergency COVID appeal and end of year Tax Campaign. | |

Since then he has expanded the initiative to four countries, encouraged over 500,000 people to go dry and raised over $100 million for people affected by cancer. With over a decade of experience running mass-market, online peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives for leading not-for-profits in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada, he has launched the CHIL Fundraising Platform to help other organisations grow their fundraising events. | |
