About the Event: VIC - Automated Supporter Journeys
Leading charities understand automation is needed to provide personalised supporter journeys at scale. Doing so is difficult as it requires development of new capabilities and ways of working. This includes being able to work across internal teams, better leverage of data, leverage of new technologies, and resource additional content. In this session, World Vision’s Head of Marketing Automation, Genie Kamvissis, and Head of Data, Analytics and Insights, Ian Evans, will share their journey developing the capabilities needed to automate supporter journeys. Participants will gain an understanding of the building blocks for automating supporter journeys and some practical tips for how to start or advance their efforts. Given the focus on working across key teams, we encourage fundraisers to bring their digital, data, and technology counterparts to maximise the value of the session. Parking is available at the venue. Closest public transport link is Footscray train station. Tea, coffee and light breakfast, provided by ASRC catering, is included with your ticket price. | Ian Evans Head of Data, Analytics and Insights World Vision Australia
Ian
has been in analytics since 2005, gaining experience across FMCG, Finance,
Loyalty and NGO industries. Originally hailing from the UK, Ian began life in credit
risk creating score cards, and has since gone on to build analytical solutions
for arrears, workforce planning & customer fulfilment, before leading
marketing analytics for flybuys partnerships.
Throughout the journey, the drive to automate has always been there. Whether it
be automating data pipelines, dashboards, call centre lists or customer
journeys. His mantra has always been ‘if a computer can do it, a
computer should do it’. You could also read this as ‘Humans should get
to do the fun stuff’
At World Vision, Ian (in tandem with Genie) is the business owner for the
enterprise Marketing Automation & Data Lake project. This project has
enabled World Vision to leverage their CRM data, and advanced analytics
solutions, to deliver timely and personalised content to their supporters. | | | Genie Kamvissis Marketing Automation Manager World Vision Australia
Genie is a senior marketing automation manager with 13 years of experience delivering integrated digital campaigns, predominantly life-cycle comms, across the retail, classifieds, insurance and charity sectors. After living and breathing lifecycle marketing strategies and email marketing techniques for a decade, it came as no surprise that her sweet spot was a combination of the two – Marketing Automation. During her time at World Vision, Genie has successfully implemented a new automation platform, integrated various data sources and leveraged these to develop a number of trigger-based life-cycle journeys; delivering the right message, to the right person, at the right time. | |
