About the Event: NSW Peer to Peer Fundraising: Growth, Successes and Failures of Signature Campaigns

Signature peer to peer fundraising campaigns can raise millions of dollars for their organisation. When done well, they can be the flagship fundraising campaign for a charity. They can also be very labour intensive and may require significant investment.

At this interactive breakfast, our panel will discuss some key campaign management questions, like; How does your organisation grow a signature fundraising event and keep it fresh year after year? What does the lifecycle of a successful event look like? And, what do you do when something goes wrong?

Our panellists come from charities of varying sizes, but all run successful (and very different) signature campaigns; physical and virtual events, events with committees around Australia and events run by a one-person fundraising team.

Learn about the biggest mistakes our panellists have made and what they’ve learned along the way. This breakfast event will provide practical advice as well as encouraging blue-sky thinking and experimentation.

This session will appeal to fundraisers working in events, peer to peer or community fundraising at any level – or those looking to learn more about the community fundraising and events space.
