About the Event: FIA Victoria After-hours Networking – April

Rolling on from the success of last year’s event and fresh from this year’s conference, you are invited to attend a networking event hosted by FIA Victoria. This after work soirée is not to be missed and has been created to facilitate genuine connections and inspiring conversations with your fundraising colleagues.
This is your chance to meet incredible fundraisers in the community just like you, hear about the exciting things FIA has in store for this year and beyond, and share notes and tips picked up from this year’s conference.

Also hear from guest speaker Kylie Wallace, Campaign Manager at Polished Man. Kylie will intrigue you all through the journey of the Polished Man Campaign – how it has grown and the challenges it has faced in this competitive fundraising world.

Thursday 11 April has your name written all over it!

Join your friends and come and make new ones, you’ll leave feeling ready to impact your community and inspire them.

See you in April!

Polished Man
Kylie Wallace is a social entrepreneur who, in 2010, began volunteering with YGAP, the not-for-profit organisation that founded the Polished Man Campaign.

Running for the month of October, the Polished Man campaign celebrates the great men and women in our society; those who paint a nail, raise funds, raise their voice and actively commit to ending violence against children.

As Campaign Manager, Kylie has fundraised $5 million dollars in 5 years, engaged over 95,000 fundraisers from over 100 countires around the world, inspired over 56K donors and created a movememt of people willing to stand up and say no to violence. The Campaign has gained mass global support from the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Kelly Slater and Malcolm Turnbull just to name a few.

Vital funds raised through Polished Man support both trauma recovery and trauma prevention in Australia and around the world.

Kylie is an advocate for youth issues, social entrepreneurship and creative and innovative fundraising in Australia.
